Welcome to Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm. The farm is located in La Center, Washington, just 30 minutes North of Portland, Oregon. Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm was established in November of 2003. I bought my first 'ponies' in 1990, since I was unable to afford quality AMHA stock. A couple of years later, my husband died, leaving me to raise 3 young boys by myself. My horse plans were put on a back burner for some years. In late 2002, I finally bought my first AMHA horses. Since then, I have been expanding my herd slowly but surely. I currently own 24 horses, with 4 more babies coming in 2008. First 2008 foals have arrived. When buying horses, I've concentrated on getting well known bloodlines, striving for quality horses with refinement in a small package. Some of the famous bloodlines include Boones Little Buckeroo, Yellow Diamond Little Feather, Gold Melody Boy, Komokos Little King Supreme, Toyland Little Sombero (100% falabella), Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, Bond AToy4UC, Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyon, Shadow Oaks Top Banana and Chianti.
