Welcome to Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm where we breed, show and sell high quality miniature horses. The farm is located in La Center, Washington, just 30 minutes North of Portland, Oregon. Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm was established in November of 2003. I bought my first 'ponies' in 1990, since I was unable to afford quality AMHA stock. A couple of years later, my husband died, leaving me to raise 3 young sons by myself. My horse plans were put on a back burner for 10 years. In late 2002, I finally bought my first AMHA horses. Since then, I have been expanding and refining my herd slowly but surely. I currently own 32 miniature horses and 3 miniature donkeys. I purchased my first miniature donkeys in 2020.

Thistle Fields always has a few quality miniature horses for sale. Prices and availability are subject to change, without notice, as my herd gets reduced in size. Remember to use the inside scroll bar, in order to view all of the horses within the sales page. Feel free to inquire on any horse if interested, within the other pages, as I might be able to work with you. Discounts may be given for multiple horse purchases. International inquiries are welcome as well.

When buying horses, I look for 1) excellent conformation 2) small size 3) fluid motion and 4) color. I'm currently concentrating on breeding conformationally correct dun, agouti, roan, cream, champagne, splash and silver minis. About the only color I don't have is grey. The foundation of most of my herd is a stunning 30" bay roan son of Sheep Meadow Whiz. Some of the famous bloodlines in my herd include Boones Little Buckeroo, Sierra Dawn Unos Monarch, Brewers Orion Mystic, Oak Bay Salsamio, Gold Melody Boy, Komokos Little King Supreme, Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, First Knights Billy Idol, Sheep Meadow Whiz, Bond AToy4UC, Lucky Four and Fallen Ash Farms Eagle Scout.
