Welcome to Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm. The farm is located in La Center, Washington, just 30 minutes North of Portland, Oregon. Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm was established in November of 2003. I bought my first 'ponies' in 1990, since I was unable to afford quality AMHA stock. A couple of years later, my husband died, leaving me to raise 3 young boys by myself. My horse plans were put on a back burner for 10 years. In late 2002, I finally bought my first AMHA horses. Since then, I have been expanding my herd slowly but surely. I currently own 28 horses and am leasing 2 more.

When buying horses, I've concentrated on getting well known bloodlines, striving for quality horses with refinement in a small package. Some of the famous bloodlines include Boones Little Buckeroo, Gold Melody Boy, Komokos Little King Supreme, Toyland Little Sombrero (100% falabella), Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, Harts Tip Top Flash, Bond AToy4UC, Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan, Sierra Dawn Uno's Monarch, Shadow Oaks Top Banana and Chianti.

2010 turned out to be a great year. All 2010 foals have been sold except 2 (see for sales page). If you'd like immediate notification, about a birth, just send me an email, to thistlefields@hotmail.com, and I'll add you to my distribution list. We're expecting only 3 foals in 2011. Update!!!
